Awning Windows
You’ll want awning windows over the top of large picture windows in rooms from which you wish to vent summer heat, under the bottom of large pictures windows when the view is to be emphasized, or alone in smaller openings. They complement casements and fixed windows because they present glass to the exterior. They differ from casements because they are less of a sail, deflecting more of the breezes where casements invite them in. In light rain, they are happy to be open. The insect screen is installed on the interior.
